Police investigators are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to track down a suspect involved in an alleged armed robbery at a Subway restaurant on Route 7 in Fairfield County.
Investigators from the Ridgefield Police Department were dispatched to the restaurant on Ethan Allen Highway - more commonly known as Route 7 - on Sunday, May 20, where there was a report of a robbery in progress involving a knife-wielding suspect.
According to police, at approximately 7:07 p.m. on May 20, a single male suspect allegedly entered Subway, demanding money. After being handed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, investigators said that he fled on foot.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
